I haven't posted much lately. Work has been really good at keeping me busy lately. I did this quick sketch a few weeks ago. thought I would post it up.

Robot

This was a robot I just drew and painted up for fun. I added in the thumbnail, lineart and a wip black and white to show the progression of the piece.

The finished turned up a lot different from the thumbnail. I really liked the sense of movement in the thumbnail. I may have lost some of that in the final but oh well...

This is for a contest I am entering on CGhub.com. The theme for it is crystal forest.

SkullBot

This is a pretty old piece of art. I decided to post it back up cause I want to do some new things with the character. Maybe a short comic or some illustration stuff. 

The lineart was done by my friend Jon Clarke. I did the painting. 

Silhouette Thumbnail Practice

These are some quick thumbnails I did in alchemy. Just messing around. They are a little splatty cause of the brush I used. I wouldn't mind doing some more of these, maybe refining them a bit more. 

Journey

Recently finished playing through Journey again. Can't say how much I enjoy playing this game. Every area is like a work of art. Inspired me to do a piece for it. 

Here is the raw BG for this piece too. I did this in Alchemy then finished the rest in photoshop.
