Paintings for my parents

These were painted for my parents for christmas. The Sailboat image was painted for my Dad. He recently sold his boat. It was called the New Dawn. I have a lot of fond memories sailing with him and my brothers on the Great Salt Lake. I thought it would be a fun way to commemorate his boat and the good times we had. The beach painting was for my Mom. She loves the beach. When I visit her in California visiting the beach is something that we always do. I put the images on some coffee mugs and gave them to my parents as Christmas gifts. I enjoyed painting them quite a bit. Thanks for taking a look.

Fisherman Paint Study

Another paint study. This one was a little more challenging. I think I have the environment stuff down fairly well. I need to work on people and characters a lot more.
